Şanzımanlar, dişli pompalarını çiftlik traktörü güç çıkış ünitelerine (PTO) bağlamak için tasarlanmıştır. Güç çıkış ünitelerinin çıkış hızı 540 rpm'dir ve bu, hidrolik pompaların uygun çalışma hızlarıyla karşılaştırılabilir.
